FLARE is a female-forward musical in development, featuring 16 original songs and an intergenerational cast.

"When the world asks us to choose sides, how do we choose each other instead?"

FLARE follows two neighboring mothers as their spouses are deployed on opposite sides of a growing civil conflict. The story explores the work of mothering, inheritance, and what it means to keep choosing one another across generations.

The upcoming Kickstarter campaign will support the next phase of FLARE’s development, including finalizing the musical score, creating vocal recordings and demos, and preparing the script and music for future workshops. These funds are an essential step to move FLARE toward production. Supporters will be playing a direct role in bringing an original musical from idea to stage; one song, one scene, and one conversation at a time. The Kickstarter will launch Spring 2026
